Jeanne Schmid is a prize-winning painter and draftsman based in Switzerland whose works have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. She cites space and representation as being at the center of her artistic expression and preoccupation, as well as the temporal dimension. Employing traditional techniques, Schmid makes her own colors and coatings, placing importance on avoiding products that are harmful to the environment.
