Jeff Gillette
Jeff Gillette merges his Southern Californian roots with poignant 'slumscape' paintings, intertwining desolation and Disney. He juxtaposes the grit of shantytowns against the sheen of pop icons, mastering a satire that startles and amuses. His work evokes a cynical humor about consumerism, beckoning viewers into a complex dialogue between despair and whimsy.
