Jim McLean is a British painter with national exposure. Formerly a successful journalist, he turned to full-time painting in 2016 and has been painting abstract portraits ever since. Using expressive marks and abstract shapes, McLean looks beyond the figurative to capture emotions in ever-evolving, profound ways.
