« Inspired by nature and its movement, color, and form, I love to use shadows and light in my paintings to evoke a sense of depth and vibrancy. »
Jo Charlton is an experienced artist based in France whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally and in England. She cites nature as being the central theme in almost all of her works. As she resides in the city, she appreciates the natural world all the more. In her artistic process, Charlton does not seek to convey realistic representations. She primarily employs a palette knife with oils and gilding on canvas.
