Jo Kemp

Jo Kemp is a self-taught photographer and conceptual artist with a background in fashion design, somatic movement, and meditation, all of which deeply inform her multi-disciplinary art. Working as a professional photographer for 15 years she now devotes her time to numerous personal projects and fine art series. Working in both Digital and analogue She employs abstract, ephemeral techniques—often incorporating flora, the sea, and natural elements—with a dreamlike, textured approach that plays with light and sensation. Her work radiates emotional depth, inviting viewers to find personal resonance in the layers of subconscious meaning, transformation, and the spiritual energy of nature. She recently had her first solo show incorporating poetry and sound into her work for an immersive experience.
