A multi-faceted artist, Joanne Wang is a Chinese-American painter and photographer who combines elements of traditional Chinese art with more contemporary styles an artistic methodologies. Her work is influenced by Chinese Ink painting as much as it is by the unique abstract expressionism of Jackson Pollock. Her artwork is an attempt to see, in natural subjects, the potential for calligraphy.
