John Pearson is an award-winning artist based in Australia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in South Africa. His key inspiration is the interpretation of the landscape, which includes both cityscapes and waterscapes. For Pearson, the integral part of his narratives is the interpretation of light and the way it describes the subject. In his artistic practice, he does not try to reproduce what he sees. Instead, he creates a new reality.
