John Plumb

John Plumb, a British abstract painter with a background shaped by post-WWII Britain, expertly harnessed mediums that evoke the ethos of Color Field and hard-edge paintings. He utilized vast, unblemished hues bordered by slender contrasting stripes, carefully crafting optical interactions that magnify the central color's dominance. His works pulse with a vibrant intensity, inviting viewers into a profound emotional dialogue with the pure power of color.
