« The main inspiration for my work is a human body – I believe it's the most perfect peace of art God has ever created. »
Jonas Kunickas is a Lithuanian painter who has exhibited his work nationally. He paints intuitively, with no deep understanding as to why the content of his pieces forms as it does. With the human figure as his principal subject, he explores the use of light and the interpretation of bodies, achieving an overall aesthetic marked by shape and shadow.
