Jos Kivits is an experienced artist based in Australia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the Netherlands and New Zealand. Inspired by the old masters, his artistic expression is translated through realistic still-lifes, florals, and seascapes. Kivits fabricates his own oils, which compliment his many-layer technique that gives the illusion of depth and conveys a ‘trompe l’oeil’ effect.
