An outsider artist, Joshua Daugherty, hails from an underprivileged background, seeking solace in the world of acrylic painting. His vivid palette and expressive brushwork render a journey between abstraction and realism, where textures dramatize the narrative. His pieces are powerful echoes of resilience, identity, and empowerment, where every stroke turns adversity into art, and evokes beauty in unexpected places.
