Juchul Kim

Juchul Kim, an award-winning South Korean painter, has exhibited nationally as well as in the United States. With a background in three-dimensional sculpture, he feels that this experience enables a greater sense of freedom and diversification when drawing. Kim has recently become fascinated with portraying bridges in his works, as they are a means of communication, embodied with historical and cultural significance. He paints in dots, though not through colors made by natural light, unlike pointillism and impressionism.
