Kandy Lozano is an American artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited on a national level. Lozano always tries to make "hope" a consistent message in her pieces.
She creates luminous, parchment-like surfaces with multiple, subtle layers that focus on the use of light, space, and optical depth. For the past twenty years, encaustic has been her medium of choice. She employs fire as most use brushes, moving wax in a manner that creates unique patterns on each individual piece.
