Karin Bos is a Dutch painter whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain, Indonesia, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Recurring themes in her works focus on the balance of power between men and women, adults and children, and between children. Bos' fairy-tale-like landscapes are embodied with elements that are also disturbing and alienating, which adds suspense and tension between her characters. Her figurative pieces are created using oils on canvas and paper.
