Kathrin Hufen

Kathrin Hufen lives and works as a freelance painter, dividing her time between Hamburg, Essen, and Mallorca. She uses painting and drawing, drawing on a rich background gained from painting trips to Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, and Italy. Since her early youth, she has worked masterfully with oil, pastel, and charcoal, combining naturalism with a narrative visual language in which subtle stories and symbolism are interwoven. With a deep love of nature and a predilection for dreamlike, surrealistic realms, she invites viewers to sense the hidden essence and energy of both people and landscapes – her works open a window into unknown, fascinating worlds.
