Kathy Aoki is a painter and printmaker based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Sweden. Through her art, she expresses her bitter disappointment in beauty, pop culture, and political trends by subverting traditional museum formats with a twist of humor.
