Ken Berman is an artist based in California whose paintings have been exhibited and collected internationally.
His style is entirely unique and unmistakably different than other artists and is a reflection of his architectural and mechanical style inspired by the steel mills near the university he attended.
In his artistic process, Berman employs glazing techniques that are based on the old master's but adds his own unique repertoire to the painting surfaces by not only drawing directly on them but also creating his own stencils and spray painting on them as well.
He most often creates with oils, acrylics, and gesso on linen, wood, or canvas but is expanding into assemblage.
