« Creating art by breathing abstraction into emotion, pursuing confusion, haziness, and obscurity to create poetic images in which myth and reality collide and present and past are fused. »
Kimberley Bruce is a painter from British Columbia, Canada. Using fabric, paint and photographs, and layering elements of light, color and texture, Bruce creates hazy, surreal, and dreamlike abstract works of art. Her paintings are soothing, tonal images that evoke the beauty and serenity of Canada's west coast.
