« My basic principle is to bring out the natural beauty of wood. The shape is very important to me, followed by the feel, and I'm very happy when both elements fit together. »

Klaus Kirchner is a sculptor and designer based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally. Principally inspired by nature and the materials themselves, which are also of natural origin. Kirchner is particularily enamored with wood, as he feels that it
radiates character and is imbued with special features such as knots, defects, or quirks.
