Knut Bernhard Averbeck
Germany
Knut Bernhard Averbeck is a painter who works with acrylic paints on canvas and only discovered art in his later years. He uses a coarse-grained concrete technique and often chooses dark colors, favoring expressive heads and faces as motifs. His works are deeply moving, as they impressively reflect the entire spectrum of human emotions—from fears and distress to happiness—and invite reflection on one's own feelings.
