Kumari Nahappan is a Singapore-based sculptor and painter, whose works have widely featured in exhibitions, publications, prizes and collections in Singapore and the UK. Inspired by life's journeys, be them spiritual, mental, emotional or physical, she composes conceptual and symbolic works that she believes are unique to the cultural fabric of Southeast Asia. From apples to tomatoes to chilis, her sculptures are striking in their creativity, direction and singularity.
