« My art speaks about all the craziness going on in the world. Humans are longing for something better but are just getting overwhelmed by it all. »
One of Canada’s most well-known street artists, Labrona also brings this feeling to his canvases. He has exhibited nationally as well as in Taiwan, the Netherlands, Mexico, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. His compositions have always focused on the human figure as he is most interested in conveying emotions which include fear, desire, and longing. While confronting the world’s madness, Labrona’s works also express love and joy. He creates using acrylics and oil, favoring oil sticks.
