Laurent Henrion is a nationally distinguished Belgian photographer. Having previously studied at l’Ecole Saint-Luc in Belgium, he was the winner of the 19th edition of the Picto Prize for Young Fashion Photography in 2016. His work focuses on the confrontation between Eros, love in all its forms, and Thanatos, the incarnation of death. Sometimes dark and disturbing, sometimes naive and dreamlike, his work takes inspiration from fashion photograph, romantic painting, abstract art, sculpture and Japanese print.
