« I went through the first 30 years of my life blind. When I learned to draw and paint, I felt a whole new wave of insight and information come my way. It changed and elevated me. »

After ending her career as a journalist, Kohlenberg moved overseas to Eastern Europe and pursued her passion for painting, defining her style in impressionistic works in acrylic on canvas.
