Leila Gaillard is an award-winning French artist who has exhibited her pieces nationally. Through her paintings, she explores the striking paradoxes between gentleness and brutality. Gaillard's atmospheric compositions are most often created using oil painting techniques, which enables her to employ fading and work on gradations. She sometimes employs gouache, and enjoys the dullness and fades that the material allows for.
