Leila Mokhtari

Leila Mokhtari is a sculptor, ceramicist, and painter from Iran with formal training from the University of Tehran and Minerva Academy, and over fifteen years of studio experience. She employs conceptual deconstruction, experimenting with eco-conscious materials, tactile textures, and form to address psychological and environmental themes, particularly agony, chaos, and regeneration. Her immersive, research-driven practice explores transformation, fragility, and resilience through intricate sculptural and painterly languages. Her artwork evokes deep reflection, powerfully conveying the interplay of human suffering, ecological crisis, and the persistent emergence of hope within loss and change.
