Lewis Durrant is an exciting UK-based painter who began by drawing his favorite cartoon characters as a young child, but has since discovered his passion for the abstract. Working with oil paint on canvas, Durrant's ultimate goal is to inspire positive emotions in the viewer. His touch is bold and lustrous, yet also contains more subtle, gentle notes. The resulting works are a vibrant layering of drama and fragility.
