Leya's sculptures are created in order to convey her main interests, which include her passion for dance as well as her love of photographing animals in their natural environments. She strongly identifies with the emotions represented in the animals she portrays in her works. Leya has developed a unique approach to sculpture that is reminiscent of traditional materials. She creates using resin on plastic or wood.
