Liam Downes is an experienced artist based in New Zealand whose paintings have been exhibited internationally. He describes his works as often depicting the world around him, ranging from landscapes to cityscapes, life drawings, and social commentary. While identifying with expressionism, Downes' distinctive compositions are also imbued with a variety of styles. He primarily creates with acrylics, ink, and collage on canvas or wood.
