Lida Ansari, with a background rooted in analog and digital practices, crafts compelling works that return to tactile mediums in her evocative "Faces" series. She employs a process of physical intervention—deconstructing and reconstructing portraits using raw materials like staples—creating layered, textured pieces that speak through the scars and seams. Her style captures the struggle of individuality against systemic alienation, evoking emotional resonance by highlighting both vulnerability and resilience within fractured identity.
