Lisette van Hoogenhuyze is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany and the United States. One of her central themes is "life at the beach". For Van Hoogenhuyze, colorful beachscapes allow for escapism from "hidden tragedies and stress". Her art shifts between the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional through acrylics and oils on canvas.
