Lona Verlich is an experienced artist based in Slovenia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy, Austria, and Macedonia. Principally inspired by nature, plants, and animals, her most recent works explore humanity in the modern world, especially the role of the "wise woman". Verlich most often creates with mixed media, acrylics, decoupage, pastels, pencils, and gold leaf on canvas.
