Luis Llaca
Spain
Luis Llaca, trained in graphic design and owner of a gallery in Madrid, primarily uses watercolors, graphite, and acrylic on cotton paper to create compact and detailed scenes. His agile and unique style, bordering on caricature, highlights the imperfection and expressiveness of the everyday, telling universal stories through simple yet vibrant characters. His works convey a deep empathy, celebrating humanity and bringing smiles by evoking the importance and beauty in the small moments of brilliance found in daily life.
