Riding is a gifted American artist whose work has been widely exhibited across the United States. Turning initial landscape drawings into metaphors, she explores themes such as impermanence, displacement, loss and hope. Her resulting abstract paintings and drawings offer both strength and delicacy, power and sensitivity.
