Manon May

Manon May is a self-taught artist with a graphic design background who studied for several semesters at the Wiesbaden Free Art School, where she favors painting, cyanotype, mixed media, and abstract calligraphy. She employs a variety of techniques: writing is understood as form, energy, and rhythm, while cyanotype employs light-based trace analysis, and mixed media emphasizes surfaces, layering, and traces. Her art conveys intense emotions, makes inner movements and memories visible, and condenses identity and presence into expressive images—all according to the motto: "Art is like love, it is self-sufficient."
