Manuel Neri

Manuel Neri, an American sculptor, expressed a profound human experience through plaster, bronze, and marble. With a vigorous gesture and raw surface treatment, his technique added a dynamic tension to the stillness of his life-sized figures. Neri's works radiate with a visceral emotionality, glimpsing into the soul through the poetry of bodily forms.
