Mara Goldie

Mara Goldie is an Italian artist with Argentine roots, currently based in Switzerland. Trained as an architect, her artistic research explores the intersection of urban perception and visual memory, transforming fragments of the city into rhythmic compositions through pointillism. She captures these fragments through her own photography and then reinterprets them, pushing markers beyond their conventional use to create depth and color density reminiscent of painting. The repeated marks in her work become a language that narrates the city through patterns and emerging structures. In her compositions, architecture dissolves into visual vibrations, and spaces interconnect in unexpected ways, inviting the viewer to decipher hidden relationships. Splitting her time between London and Zurich, she navigates between architecture and art, reinterpreting the city as a living fabric of memory, transformation, and dynamic connections.
