Margit Doupnik works as a painter, inspired by her own artistic development and her life in Klosterneuburg. She uses vibrant colors, strong contrasts, and the interplay of light and texture, her techniques influenced by the clarity of Dürer and the sensuality of Klimt. Her works oscillate between landscapes, sacred themes, places of longing, and symbolism, with the Vienna Secession playing a significant role. She aims to create quiet dialogues and profound connections through her paintings, moving viewers intellectually and emotionally across time and space. "My paintings are meeting places—where artist and viewer can connect across time and space. In a shared radiance, we recognize one another."
