Margit Tschida, a painter and draughtswoman living in Graz, draws on her academic training and intensive engagement with natural themes. She employs expressive, abstract painting techniques with complex layering processes and mixed media, creating relief-like, profound structures. Her stylistic devices include the interplay of build-up and removal, light and shadow, inspired by the landscape of La Gomera. Her works open up emotional spaces for reflection and invite viewers to discover the hidden within the visible.
