Margot Waller Madgett is an American painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally. She describes her art as an ongoing narrative based on our desires as humans for spiritual connection with nature and "the other". Madgett employs abstraction as part of a visual dialogue that represents varying perspectives. In addition, she incorporates repurposed wood and recycled materials into her compositions not only to be conscientious of wastefulness but also for sculptural of symbolic purposes.
