Maria Shtypuliak

Maria Shtypuliak is a Ukrainian contemporary artist based in Poland whose works are held in private collections across Europe. Educated in Kyiv, Gdańsk, and Gdynia, she combines Eastern European painting traditions with contemporary European figurative art. Her work has been presented in group and international digital exhibitions across Europe and Canada.

Through symbolic figurative painting, Maria explores the moments when people reconnect with their authentic selves — the part that remains beneath fear, expectations, loss, and life experience. Her works reflect inner light, strength, truth, hope, and compassion.

Each body of work explores a different stage of the human journey — from inner myths and the search for meaning, to tenderness and the courage to follow one’s dreams. Maria creates symbolic spaces where viewers can recognize something within themselves.

Her paintings invite us to remember the light, strength, and truth that have always existed within.
