Mariia Gorbunova is an artist based in Belgium whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Russia, England, and the British Virgin Islands. Her works delve into themes relating to time, human psychology, and the complex nature of consciousness and unconsciousness. In addition, Gorbunova translates trauma via abstraction and the landscape through gesture and physicality. She primarily creates with acrylics and oils on canvas.
