Born in Argentina, Marilina Prigent combines archives, letters, photos and oral testimonies in videos and installations. Focused on micro-history and forgotten stories, she manipulates these archives to reveal implicit narratives and create spaces for fiction. Her reflection on the relationship between documents and history evokes a poetry, questioning time and collective memory. Her works offer a fragmented, non-linear, polyphonic reality and invite a sensitive rereading of the world, resonating intimate and historical stories.
