Marilyn Borglum is an award-winning American painter whose portraitures and environmental narratives explore personalities and the effect their decisions have on our environment. She employs varying metaphors and symbolism within her works but wants the overriding element to be emotion. Borglum's representational compositions are created using painterly brushstrokes. She occasionally uses scrapers and rags to incorporate more abstracted forms and elements.
