Marta Romashina

Drawing upon her global travels, Marta Romashina delves into the human condition through photography. Her approach blends contemporary photography and traditional fine art, using digital and film mediums to manipulate light and composition, devoid of Photoshop use. Marta's work underlines interlinking narratives of diverse cultures, emotions, and transformations, sparking an introspective dialogue between viewer and image.

Since 2022, she has been based in Paris, where she was honored to receive a Passeport Talent residence as a renowned artist. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has collaborated with esteemed publications such as Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and L’Officiel.

She completed her undergraduate studies in fashion marketing in Shanghai, followed by a Master’s in Fashion in Florence, and received her photography training in Cape Town. This diverse education has helped her develop a multi-dimensional approach to both fashion and fine art photography.
