Mash Ritchie is an award-winning artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Scotland. She describes her works as being intuitive and "in touch" with her emotions and personal thoughts. Through her abstractions, Ritchie explores the themes of death, the human psyche, absurdity, existentialism, impermanence, and ambiguity. She primarily creates with acrylics and employs oil pastels and charcoal to achieve variations of texture in her compositions.
