Mathilde Pénicaud is a sculptor and designer based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. She describes her creative approach as being intimately linked to the intrinsic properties of materials and the possibilities of their use. As such, Pénicaud explores the possibilities of materials and their associations, searching for formal languages that are defined by technical principles, "without frills or decorum".
