Matilde Soligno is a prize-winning photographer based in Italy whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, France, Malaysia, and Spain. Her compositions explore the concepts of memory, subjective identity, and the way in which the use of the photographic medium in modern and contemporary history has contributed to shaping our idea of truth and reality. While Soligno has a preference for analog photography, she also creates works that combine digital and classic mediums.
