Matteo Damiani is an award-winning painter and photographer based in Italy whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions both nationally and in Argentina. In his distinctive compositions, he highlights the contrast between the digital and matter, which is a fundamental aspect of his "poetics". Damiani tares and punctures his canvases to represent trauma, which he believes is part of evolution and is an essential step in reaching balance. He creates using acrylics and collage on canvas.
