« Building on stories from the past. »
Matthew Daniels, a Canadian based painter, explores color and composition in his abstract works. Recently his compositions explore the shapes of triangles, circles, and squares and how these forms create the world around us. Daniels deconstructs these configurations to their base element: the line. Through acrylic paints and mixed media, he builds texture and depth in several layers until a balance of color and depth is achieved.
